The Division of Urology at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, seeks a full time, board certified Urologist with Pediatric Urology Subspecialty Certification and 2-5 years of post-fellowship experience to join the existing division of six pediatric urologists, two physician assistants and one nurse practitioner. The Urology Division is a referral base for complex pediatric urological patients from all over the southwestern United States as well as Mexico and its surgeons perform over 2300 surgical procedures per year. The Division sponsors the pediatric urology rotation for residents rotating from the Mayo Clinic (Scottsdale) and Creighton Urology Residency Programs.
This is a full-time clinical position with the opportunity to do clinical research. The Phoenix Children's Surgery Department is actively expanding all of its divisions. This is an exciting time to be joining a growing institution located in one of the most desirable areas in the country.
The Urology Division at Phoenix Children's Hospital is the largest pediatric urology specialty group in the southwestern United States and are recognized for their special expertise in treating the urological problems of neonates, infants, children and teenagers. Notable programs are the Pediatric Enuresis Center. The first enuresis clinic in Arizona directed by pediatric urologists dedicated to treating the specialized enuresis problems of children and teenagers. The Reproductive Anomalies & Disorders of Sexual Development Clinic the only program in the region that provides a comprehensive approach to caring for children who are born with a malformation of the reproductive system. The multidisciplinary clinic combines the experience of subspecialists in the fields of general surgery, urology, gynecology, endocrinology and psychology to diagnose and treat pediatric patients.
Applicants should have the ability to work with teams on patient focused, division-centric, and hospital wide initiatives.
Board Certified Urologist with Pediatric Urology Sub-specialty Certification and 2-5 years of post-fellowship experience.
