The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) is seeking applications for the position of Director of a newly established Advanced Gynecologic Surgery Center. Candidates should be fellowship trained and have demonstrable experience in advanced gynecological surgeries to include robotics and a successful track record in leadership and academic activities.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at EVMS has 30 full time faculty and 75 community faculty. The Department serves a large referral network and is renowned for its expertise in reproductive endocrinology, urogynecology and maternal-fetal medicine. The Department has two fellowship programs in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Reproductive Endocrinology and is involved in academic and research activities with funded research by the National Institute of Health.
