Looking for a General Ophthalmologist with preferred fellowship training in Glaucoma or Cornea to join a senior ophthalmologist. Senior ophthalmologist is looking to gradually slow down and in a short time turn over his practice to the new ophthalmologist, through a buy in/work in arrangement, espescially the surgical part of the practice which currently is doing approximately 200 cataracts/year, 150 lasers/year, and approx. 50 eyelid procedures/year. The practice has two offices in the central New Jersey area, and has ownership with an excellent surgical center which has a femtosecond laser, intralase lasik suite, argon, yag, and SLT lasers, and state of the art cataract equipment. The practice had three doctors working up until recently and was grossing approx. 1.2mil/year. The practice is well established in the area since approx. 1970. The practice has 6 fully equipped examination lanes, a 3 year old zeiss 5000 OCT, a 2 year old Humphrey 750 VF machine, 2 NIkon autorefractors, and a new sonomed A-scan. Also, eye surgical center has an IOL master and a pentacam as well as the ORA system for the microscope.
The area in central New Jersey is highly desirable as it is close to New York City and Philadelphia yet located in a beautiful country like environment close to lakes, parks, hiking and biking trails, etc. Schools in the area are rated excellent. I have lived in this area for over 30 years, raised my children here, and now my grandchildren are growing up in this area- a truly great area to raise a family.
