Minneapolis VA Health Care System (VAHCS) is a teaching hospital providing a full range of patient care services with state-of-the-art technology, as well as education and research. Comprehensive health care is provided through primary care, tertiary care and long-term care in areas of medicine, surgery, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, oncology, dentistry, geriatrics and extended care.

The Minneapolis VA Health Care System, a major teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Minnesota, seeks a physician with women's health expertise to join our Women Veterans Comprehensive Health Center. The successful candidate will spend at least 50% of her/his time caring for female veterans in an outpatient academic multidisciplinary setting that offers integrated on-site mental health, gynecology, and primary care services. Other duties are negotiable; clinical practice, education, quality improvement, research, and administrative opportunities are potentially available, depending on interests and expertise. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential; experience in clinical education or quality improvement is preferred. Applicants should be BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
