The Penn State Hershey Medical Center is seeking a board certified pediatric physiatrist to join our group of eight physiatrists at the 98-bed Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital. The position involves inpatient and outpatient pediatric rehabilitation, concussion clinic, neuromuscular disease clinic, spina bifida clinic, EMGs and or spasticity management depending on your interests.
The ideal candidate will be board certified / eligible in PM&R and Pediatric Medicine.
The Hershey Medical Center is a 500 bed tertiary care teaching hospital and level 1 trauma center with 700 physicians and growing. Hershey is a suburban community of 20,000 in a metropolitan area of 400,000 in one of the fastest growing regions in the state. Hershey Medical Center is approximately twelve miles from Harrisburg, the state capital, and is the largest employer in the Commonwealth.
Medical degree – M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
Completion of an accredited residency program
Licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
Board certification/eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pediatric Medicine
