Palliative Care Physician Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak, MI

Beaumont Health seeks a highly and compassionate physician to join an established Palliative Care Team at the Royal Oak campus, approximately 30 minutes outside Detroit. The large academic medical center with more than a thousand inpatient beds serves as a tertiary referral center for the geographical area and has received numerous awards for quality care. The existing Palliative Care Team consists of four physicians, three NP's and a full-time dedicated social worker and team coordinator and part-time chaplain.The team follows a consultative model, mainly caring for inpatients and received the Joint Commission Advanced Certification in Palliative Care in 2014-2020. The interdisciplinary team is committed to providing excellent patient and family centered care, education of trainees, staff and the community and maintaining a supportive and collaborative practice environment. Physicians joining the Palliative Care Team will also be appointed to the faculty of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

Applicants must be board eligible/certified in their primary specialty and Palliative Medicine. Fellowship training is preferred but not required.
