Perfect for an an enthusiastic and skilled orthopedic oncologist to join a busy orthopedic oncology service at the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center of Morristown Medical Center and Atlantic Health System. Last year, we performed close to 500 orthopedic tumor and tumor- related surgeries on children and adults. A broad variety of benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors treated in all age groups.
The orthopedic oncology service works closely in a multidisciplinary manner with pediatric and medical oncology, radiation oncology, musculoskeletal radiology and pathology as well as a multitude of other ancillary healthcare team members. The immediate team consists of a dynamic group led by a senior orthopedic oncologist and consisting of 3 advanced practice providers, a fellow, rotating residents, a nurse navigator, office manager several medical assistants, administrative assistants and research associates.
Morristown Medical Center has been repeatedly named the #1 hospital in the state as well as the #1 orthopedic program according to US News and World Report performing over 11,000 orthopedic surgeries annually.
