Samaritan Health Services in Oregon has an opportunity for a Primary Care Physician in our Geriatrics Clinic!

Samaritan Health Services is seeking a primary care physician with an interest in geriatrics to join our team in Lebanon, Oregon. The position represents an addition to two current geriatricians, to support continued growth in the service line.

Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn, Benton, Lincoln and portions of Polk and Marion counties. Job Specifics:

• Monday through Friday schedule; Four 10-hour shifts
• 8-15 patients per day
• Practice is currently based in nursing facilities, skilled rehab, and assisted living memory care settings. Geriatrics team provides primary care including chronic disease management, acute medical work-ups and post-hospital care.
• Plan to create outpatient geriatric panel, inpatient and outpatient consult service with opportunities for a candidate to create a practice tailored to their geriatric medicine interests.
• Optional procedures to include: I&D, cryotherapy, and shoulder/knee injections
• One week of phone call every six weeks; no in person call
• Help support IM/FM Residents when rotating through clinic
• Position will travel locally to facilities in Albany, Lebanon, and Sweet Home

Job Requirements:

• Geriatrics fellowship training preferred.
• Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• H-1B visa candidates considered
